Review by Bryan McGillIncomparable is an excellent book. I knew Andrew Wilson when he was in Cambridge studying for his bachelor's degree in theology. He has written most succinctly about a very big subject. Who can know the mind of God? Well, Andrew has brought fascinating insights into the mind and character and personality of the creator and at the same time brought many disciplines into his book so support his claims. He is not writing from one narrow perspective but bringing many to bear to give us some understanding of who God is and, more importantly, develop worship in our hearts for such a wonderful God.
For anyone starting the path of exploration of the Almighty I can heartily recommend Incomparable. It is not a weighty tome but written in language all can understand, with humour, humility and personal testimony. The short chapters make it more helpful. I used the book with my morning Bible Reading. Sometimes I got more from the book than the Bible!
I can recommend Incomparable wholeheartedly.
